Quite appealing

4*

Adrian M. says:

Tucked away behind the market in bideford, this little pub is trying to please all but not brilliantly well! The real ale is good to see, the skittle alley can be fun if there are enough of you with plenty of drink in you! The landlord is very nice and because its quite difficult to find tends to keep away from the louts in the town!!

Pleasant surprise

4*

Paul H. says:

I was literally dragged along to this pub one drunken night. Now I wish I'd gone there ages ago. Hard to find but well worth it. There was live music on the night I went - some randon folk evening and we thoroughgly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly, the beer was real ale, but the food was a bit bland. Proably deadly on a non music night tho.

set by the Market place with very limited parking. Has a skittle ally and has good food on offer. Small beer garden at the back.. nice and friendly landlord with good staff

Good but not great

3*

Dave L. says:

The Joiners is one of those pubs which does everything just enough not to be bad. With a little bit of effort it could be a cracking place. Tucked away behind the market the beer's alright, the staff are alright, but they could do more.

A small quiet pub

3*

Simone W. says:

This pub is your typical quiet local pub, tucked away in the corner of Bideford. It sometimes hosts live folk music evenings, if you like this type of music then its worth a visit.
