This has since changed to Route 69 and is a good venue with attracts a gay crowd, or maybe its a gay place and straight folk are welcome, I know we had a good time, friendly fun and dancing very much allowed.

This place has changed its name and owners and is now known as Route 69, its better than it ever was so its worth checking out now. They do some themed nights and some for teeneagers so check the board if you are interested.

Obviously this is now Route 69... I went in there a few weeks ago and I have to say I REALLY liked it. It's a great atmosphere and everyone seems very friendly. It's really light and airy and play good music (apart from Lazy Town which I heard one time!) Trouble is, the place is always really quiet and I'm not sure how long it'll last... but if you haven't been it's worth going into. Don't be put off at all with it being a gay bar or feel awkward if you're straight, everyone is so nice and just want to have a dance and a laugh

This place is well known for the gay comunity, however, i love going in for a good drink and dance. Its really friendly and fn, everyone just want to have a laugh, and there doesnt seem to be the old trouble makers which used to hang out there anymore. Its not massivly over priced either

Route 69 is such a classy and friendly nightclub, with allsorts happening from morning presenters jagger & woody from Northants 96 DJ-ing to Joeyoke! which is Kareoke wit Joey. They hold an under 16's club night! which is very popular indeed! The club its self has up to date modern decor, with comfy seating availiable, and a spacious dance floor
