York Train Station

John W. says:
The Jorvik Centre is pricy, let us no deny it. However, the insight it gives into the world of the Vikings, with its sights and smells is unrivalled. Overall it is well worth visiting despite the cost. chances are it's raining outside too so at least you'll be dry.

came here withmy children when they were quite young. takes you through a journey in time to see how the vikings came to this country. you sit on alittle train and it takes you trhough the centries. they even have cooking pot aromas as you go by. very interesting. helped my daughter with a school project. well worth going

Andy C. says:
One of Yorks primary tourist attractions, the Yorvik Centre takes you back in time to York's viking age. The wax-figures that guide you through the historic city are laughable at times, but there is much fun to be had for juniors. A good family day out if you can afford the high admission prices.
