Birthday Bar Part 2!

4*

Steph N. says:

I am looking forward to a little birthday gathering at Koba, the staff are really friendly, the decor is very funky yet stylish and the cocktails are very exciting! The upstairs room is called the 'Gods room' and it is pretty gorgeous, the leather seats around the outside of the bar are very classy and the sky lights let in the light on a lovely summers evening, providing a great setting for cocktails till dawn! The smoking terrace looks pretty nice as well, not that you'll find me there!

Private Members Club

Koba is a great place to start the night, especially when you have friends down to visit.

Hidden inbetween Waitrose and Oddbins on Western Road, it's easy to pass by, but look out for the sign over the door and head up to the stairs into one of Brighton's best kept secrets.

With a cocktail list as long as your arm you'll soon see why this place will have you visiting again and again.

Whether you require space for a private party or just fancy a mojito before hitting the seafront, this is the place to be

Birthday Bar

4*

Kerry H. says:

I had my 30th at Koba...they have the perfect room upstairs that fits about 50 or so people in with your own bar and funky, chunky seating all around the edge. They wouldn't let us bring a DJ though...that was a bit of a shame. We had full use of their CD player though so that was something.

This is a cocktail bar...so that's their speciality of course. The choice is huge and there's even a small selection of virgin cocktails for the drivers amongst you...or the tee-total freaks like me (don't worry it's not catching).

As an average punter this is a place to slink into late at night to finish your evening off in style if you can't be arsed to go dancing.

They know their cocktails

3*

Miss F. says:

I like Koba. They know their cocktails, and have a great little space to party - formerly the members bar. It's a shame it's stuck next to Waitrose on Western Road, but it's nice to take the girls to when they're down from London.
