What a pub. Apparently the oldest in London. Good ales. Small inside but in the summer why not stand outside and watch the World go by. Serves traditional pub lunch food too.

Its a little bit out of the way from Covent Garden but its a nice little pub that seems pretty original. Its kept is old pub style and isnt that modern or flouncy, but a truley lovely find should you stumble across it.

The Lamb and Flag is a cramped traditional pub near Covent Garden. Our Geography A Level teacher introduced a whole class of us to it years ago. It is worth a visit if you're thirsty and nearby.

Squeeze your way in here with the West end after work crowd and enjoy the friendly ambience. Used to be called the "bucket of blood". Interesting.

The Lamb and Flag is a little traditional pub between Covent Garden and Leicester Square. I guess it’s one of the very random pubs in this area that is not part of a chain or a busy touristy place. It’s especially nice in summer where you can stand outside the pub and sip your G&T. The inside is pretty old fashioned and the last redecoration was probably at least 10 years ago. Nevertheless it’s a little charming traditional pub in central London always worth a visit in summer, especially if you work in the area.
