Whilst this Laura Ashley is actually quite tiny it does have alot of stuff, it still has the floral hippie bits but some really nicely made classic bits too. Really good summer skirts in here. Plus the home section if you can afford it is really lovely.

Just the name "Laura Ashley" brings me out in a cold sweat! I have memories of my mother forcing me to wear pretty floral dressed when my mates all had the latest fashions! Now I'm older - they actually have some nice clothes there - and if you're looking to decorate - their home ware materials are quite stylish too.

I disliked Laura Ashley for years, it was a trauma effect from when my indecisive mother would drag me round there for hours as she ummed and aahed about clothes she couldn't afford anyway... it always used to be a bit for the middle-aged, but I have to say, they do sell some gorgeous clothes in there now. I saw a stunning dress for around £120 so it's pricey, but the quality is really high and it's a really nice, quiet shop. If you have some cash burning a hole in your pocket and fancy feeling a bit like Kate Middleton for the afternoon, you should pop in!
