Orsino Cocktail Bar Restaurant

...it's absolute heaven...

In fact the whole menu at Orsino is brilliant... a good selection of pizza, pasta and meat dishes.

They serve some lovey coffees too... I particularly like the iced coffee.

Orsinos on Church Road in Hove used to do the most amazing deal, £5 for three courses on a Monday. Not sure if they still do it? Either way it's a great italian - with some more upmarket dishes than the usual pizza and pasta. They do fantastic starters - mozzarella, deep fried brie, calamari. And the risotto is delicious.

Orsinos do the most fabulous risotto and a lovely house wine. They have a really big menu, which does make you worry a bit after watching Gordon Ramsay's recommendations of keeping the menu small to keep it fresh, however I enjoyed a gorgeous chicken dish here with a lemon sauce and it was wonderful. It's got great atmosphere, although they have one waiter who can get a bit moody which is a bit off putting...but don't let that put you off as it's a great little place.

This is a nice little Italian restaurant, that has a very extensive menu. It's always popular, a good indication, has great dishes, especially the seafood. There's plenty of choice near it, but it's up there with the rest of them

...Italian restaurants in Hove Orsino has undergone a bit of a transformation in the past couple of years. It used to be very much a late night dinking place at weekends with the restaurant down the side and at the back. Now it's all about the food.

You won't be disappointed with the menu or the quality of the food but I do feel it's a little over priced. They do offer cheaper set menus but their a la carte menu can look expensive compared to other equally as good Italians. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated.

This restaurant is located in Hove on Western Road. It always has a great atmosphere and great food. Good variety of specials and good service. I would reccomend their desserts as they are great! Food is pretty honestly priced, not cheap but worth the money.
