If you want to try and recapture your Sunday afternoons watching Dancin on Ice then you should try and give it a go here.
The place is starting to look a little tired, but an ice rink is still an ice rink and you can have a laugh about it.
It's not that expensive, but sadly there's no holly willoughby in revealing dresses. You win some you lose some

I have to say, one of the most fun nights out I had was when some friends and I went to one of the 'disco nights' here. It's such a laugh and you don't feel like a nob falling all over the place because everyone does, and the only people who stand out are the ones who think they are one half of Torvill and Dean. I would recommend grabbing a load of friends because you'll have such a laugh. And who cares it's chavvy!

Outdoor skating may be the trendy thing to do but for real ice and and a big space, visit the Oxford Ice rink. It can get very busy at week ends and during school holidays, and the disco music can be loud so check out with the centre what's on at the session you are thinking of attending. During the week the early evening sessions are much quieter. 01865 467000. Open most days from 10am-12pm, 2-4pm, 5:45-7:15pm, 8-10:30pm. Admission £5.50/£4.20 for skaters, £1.00 for a non-skating guardian. Sat 2 - 4pm session can be very busy as can school holidays so it is worth getting there early. If you do want to skate outside then try Oxford castle or Warwick castle.
