Pizza Express Restaurants

I love my pizza and have had the best one (maybe ever!) in this branch of Pizza Express. We can always get a table here and the staff are really friendly. We often get takeaways from here too which never fail to disappoint. Overall, great food at great prices.

This is probably one of the best Pizza Express restaurants around. Particularly if you get a table near the back, which is really light and airy. The staff are very friendly. Also, as it's often pretty quiet on a weekday you can turn up with a big crowd of you unannounced and they're very accomodating.

I agree with other reviewers here that this Pizza Express is better than some others which can let the side down. This one is clean, really nicely done out, there is loads of room and the staff are attentive and friendly.

The food here is also really good. I used to moan that the pizzas here were shrinking year on year...well now they do the Romana pizza which is bigger (i know it's thinner which is why it's bigger but it's still bigger) and is really good. In fact I have never had a bad meal here.

The only issue is parking but then it is Hove so you shouldn't expect to be able to park anyway.

This branch of Pizza Express is definitely better than some of the others in this area.

The staff are attentive and polite. They seem on top of things, but don't bother you too much unless you really need them.

In terms of menu, you cannot beat the doughballs... no visit would be complete without.

I love Pizza Express. I just never think to go along to this one as it's not as nice inside as the one on Jubilee Street. However, it does to delivery so I should make use of that more often!

I'll second LB's assertions on this one. It does somehow seem better than every other Pizza Express I've ever been to. Nice atmosphere, efficient and friendly staff and as I remember a nice little courtyard out the back.

Ok, ok you know what you're going to get when you go to a Pizza Express but the one up the road from me in Hove is really very good.

I've eaten in a fair few branches in my 33 years but the pizzas here just seem better than the rest. I was there last night...a dish of olives whilst browsing over the menu...dough balls to start and then my favourite Fiorentina pizza (although I have it without the egg). It was all gorgeous although I do stink of garlic today! Stay back.

The service is excellent too...plenty of staff on hand so you're never left hanging on. And of course it's very reasonable...all in all the perfect place to head to if you just simply can't be arsed to cook one night.
