It's the cinema for people who love films! You get some classics, you get some of those Rocky Horror,Sound of Music type events, and you get cheap tickets! Popular/busy but deservedly so!

The Prince Charles is the cheapest cinema in the centre of London. This is not the right place for people who likes author movies. This place offers not just movies but famous musicals and live shows too (as The Sound of Music).

Just £5 a ticket for evening and weekend showings of slightly older films. Varied crowd (generally more civilised than at the nearby cinemas, I should add) and a nice small bar. It's a single screen and there can be a bit of a crush waiting for the doors to open but hey, it's cheap.
Staff tend to be friendly, and they do a nice range of films (although sometimes the same film appears to hang around for weeks). Also popular for events like free screenings and small festivals.

This cinema shows slightly old films - maybe a couple of months out of date. The reason to go here though, is because the tickets are so cheap. It also puts on some cinema classics, and has a rather nice bar. A great way to avoid spending a tenner at Vue or the Odeon.
