<![CDATA[Greater London - Barnet - Hendon - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en Great Service from this company. http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/furniture-shops/fci-nw95ae.html#r53959 I drive past this building almost 3-4 times a week and had never been in till we needed to buy some wardrobes. The staff were great and the service was so much better than 3 other similar shops we have been to. The last we purchased wardrobes we had an absolute nightmare and so i was a little apprehensive. Luckily fci knows what they are doing and did a great job for us.

Be prepared for an 8 week wait though!! Great stuff.

A lovely shopping experience out of the city http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/shopping-centres/brent-cross-shopping-centre-nw43fp.html#r22369 My family and I often park here before heading into the city. But you can easily spend the day.

They have a huge range of shops, a lovely food hall and plenty of free car parking.

It can get busy but being open until late gives flexability, especially at weekends.

The shops are all you usual high street chains but within a great setting just off the M1.

Gap http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/clothing/gap-nw43fb.html#r22094 Gap stick to their staples for men yet again. There lines don’t really change. Chinos are the staple… In both trouser and short form. Then layers are the next bit, generally shirts under rugby shirts, yet again nothing to blow your mind here.

Deep Pockets Needed http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/mens-clothing/hugo-boss-nw43fd.html#r20218 One look at the clothes and you’ll be drawn in, however, one look at the price tag and you might be running for the door. All the clothes will last and the suits will never go out of fashion. If you look closely you’ll realise why they cost more, there’s more going on in the cut and the finish of the clothes (plus stamping the word boss on some of the cheaper items helps bump up the price too) The clothes look great and the staff will advise you on getting them tailored to suit you.

All the Jeans you could wish for http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/fashion-shops/the-original-levis-store-nw43fb.html#r20216 Nearly every pair of Levis you could imagine here. They have all the cuts and colours you could ask for, however you may need help. Because there are so many pairs of jeans, you can’t really see the wood for the trees. It helps if you have an idea of what you’re after and then the staff can pick out a few things that match your needs and size otherwise you’re in for a long day.

Revival? http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/fashion-shops/united-colors-of-benetton-nw43fb.html#r20212 United Colours of Benetton have been in a bit of a wilderness recently, but when I went in here it seems to be having a go at being more high street. T-shirts were cut to look fitted which is great if you don’t happen to be the same shape all the way down from shoulders to waist (like Mr Spoon from Button Moon... ask your parents) You can however come out looking a bit odd, I found a white jacked that just made me look like a mad doctor (it actually just made me look like a doctor, I think I added the mad bit myself) Reasonably priced and more to choose from that I thought there has been recently. Well done Benetton.

College Clothing http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/fashion-shops/tommy-hilfiger-nw43fb.html#r20209 Tommy Hilfiger is the king of preppy American college clothing. He’s slightly more fashionable than Gap and has moved away from emblazoning every piece of clothing with the brand name making you look like you were wearing, part sweater, part sandwich board. The selection isn’t that great and it’s kind of caught in the same trap as gap... that there isn’t much variation from season to season. However, the clothes are of good quality and will certainly last.
