<![CDATA[Greater London - Barnet - Hendon - Shopping and Amenities - Shopping Centres - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en A lovely shopping experience out of the city http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/shopping-centres/brent-cross-shopping-centre-nw43fp.html#r22369 My family and I often park here before heading into the city. But you can easily spend the day.

They have a huge range of shops, a lovely food hall and plenty of free car parking.

It can get busy but being open until late gives flexability, especially at weekends.

The shops are all you usual high street chains but within a great setting just off the M1.

Brent Cross - what a treat! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/shopping-centres/brent-cross-shopping-centre-nw43fp.html#r16997 When we were little it was such a treat if Mum suggested a trip to Brent Cross. It involved getting up dead early on a Saturday to arrive before it opened and avoid the queues. Then when it started to get busy around 11am we'd head off to John Lewis cafe for a hot chocolate or an icecream and be home by lunchtime. Over the years what started as one strip of shops between John Lewis and Fenwicks has grown and expanded to be a really good shopping centre with nearly all of your favourite high street names and including restaurants and some smaller shops. I sound like my Mum but it is worth getting there early on a weekend 'cos it gets really busy... and during sale time it is crazy!

I Love shopping http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/barnet/hendon/shopping-centres/brent-cross-shopping-centre-nw43fp.html#r13701 I am a massive fan of Brent Cross - its local (to me) easy to park and has a great selection of shops.

It does get slightly mad at weekends and i would go as far as to say it is mayhem - especially if you are trying to push a buggy round too.

The selection of shops is great and food court is good for an informal bite to eat.

With John Lewis at one end and Fenwicks at the other end and loads of slection in between you are bound to find what you are looking for.

All it is missing is a Primark!
