From the outside the shop looks a bit run down and chaotic. But once inside you can get hold of some of the best brands and products used by professionals.

It's such a good place for haircare: a scarily large selection of hair colouring alchemy, followed by styling products, hairbrushes and hair straighteners. If you want a salon quality hairdryer i.e. one that gets properly hot with a lot of blow without cutting out, then Sally's is the best place to buy one.

Not to be forgotten is the nail care section. They are a main supplier for OPI nail colour and they have everything you can possibly need for acrylics, silks etc. Also they stock the best top coat "Beauty Secrets" (blue bulbous bottle).

Worthy of a trek to Finchley (if you can't face visiting the branch on Shaftesbury Avenue).

On this showing the Sultans were indeed well-fed and it's no wonder they all ended up wiht pot bellies..

It's good quality Turkish food, a great VFM lunch menu offer and reliably cheerful service.

It's also vegetarian friendly and popular with families.

I'll personally recommend the Mousakka, the falafel and the chicken şiş.

The satay chicken is one of the best we've had. Not oily or packed full of cheap onions and sprouts. The spring rolls are always good and the chicken chow mein is superb.

The delivery service is always prompt and the staff friendly.

Defintely worth a try for your next take-out meal.

Reasonably-priced and open late - food's quite good - take-away service too (but can be a bit greasy). Eminently useful after a night out....but you wouldn't do it all the time.
