The staff are friendly and that helps give it that "local" feel that we used to get in the old fashioned and endangered pub.

Drinks not too expensive, food is very nice simple pub grub. Shows sports but only on a couple of screens at the back of the bar so does not disturb people who do not want to watch. A good mix of clientele from young to older. Overall a very lovely, slylish bar.

The driver didn't know the way to the church, made 4 very young children walk from the gates of the church to the door (when they should have AND COULD HAVE been dropped at the door). The driver also refused to make more than one journey to the reception, so my bridesmaids/flowergirls (my own children) had to be transported seperately and with people they didn't know. This made my wedding run 30minutes late, so everything was rushed for the rest of the day. When we tried to get a refund for the car that had broken down, Mr Cyril Barker (owner if this company) offered me HALF the cost of the car and a bottle of champagne. When I said this was not good enough and TRIED to explain that he had caused upset and we paid for a car that never showed up, he refused to talk to me. We ended up having to go to a small claims court, where we won, and Mr Barker was instructed to give us the owed money (a FULL refund of the car that had broken down), plus pay court costs. Also this man (Mr Cyril Barker) has got so many different "companies" (if you can call them that) and I believe he doesn't know what he's doing! STAY AWAY FROM HIM we are STILL waiting for an apology!
