Great florist in Kensal Rise http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/kensal-green/florists/scarlet-violet-nw103jj.html#r10912 Scarlet and Violet have been going for a coup-le of years but they have carved out a real niche for themselves here. They always have a great selection of flowers and plants and try to keep them seasonal to UK but that isn't always possible in winter. They are really friendly and helpful and always full of advice about the right flowers for the right occasion. They offer some useful account services for those who buy flowers regularly. My wife goes in twice a month and buys a big bouquet or plant; it keeps the house full of fresh flowers - it also keeps me in the good books and i don't even have to remember to buy them! (thoughtful but lazy - that's me!) We should all support local, boutique shops like this - I’m going to start the anti-petrol- station, plastic wrapped flowers gang. Who's in?
