<![CDATA[Greater London - Brent - Willesden Green - Eating, Drinking and Nightlife - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en Good little restaurant http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/continental-restaurants/the-little-star-restaurant-nw24nh.html#r55379 Went here for a friend's birthday, and they gave us a private area in what is a small restaurant. The food is great (even a starter may fill you up), especially their selection of seafood. Averagely priced and their house wine was great value for money. Only downside was the service, which was very slow even if friendly.

Would highly recommend if you're in the area and want a quiet relaxing dinner and if not in a rush!

Fresh sashimi & a must see Chef! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/japanese-restaurants/sushisay-nw24qu.html#r52244 My friend and I set up a goal - in search of the best sushi place in london.

We will visit a new Japanese restaurant each week and we will order different dishs as well as order the same thing each time as control.

Salmon sashimi, toro sashimi and Tamago (omelette) nigiri - our control.

Sushi-say has the best salmon sashimi... We thought it was a bit expensive to have 7 pcs of sake sashimi for £15, but it was all worthwhile.

The size is HUMUNGUS!! I think it can easily be 14 pcs of salmon sashimi in Japan Centre, but size isnt that important as it is so fresh and yummy!!

Toro and egg nice as well, but I think Sushi-hiro still got the upper hand.

To conclude, it is an absolute surprise find in Willesden Green for such an authentic Japanese Restaurant! Food was lovely and we will definately go back even tho service was extremely slow.

Decor was minimal but stylish, waitress were helpful and friendly, and the Sushi chef is definately a must-see! You will know what I mean when you go there!

Great Kebabs !!! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/fast-food-takeaway/kebabish-nw102qd.html#r18477 Kebabish offer easily the best kebabs available in Willesden Green, they specialise in healthy cooking and dont use a meat spit in front of a heater like most other places.

Staff are friendly, feshly baked bread is very nice, Ingredients are fresh and the kebabs are huge, highly recommended for a healthier alternative to the usual greasy kebabs that are eveywhere in London..

Hangover heaven http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/fast-food-takeaway/sams-chicken-ribs-nw21ex.html#r17206 No awards for decor... ha ha. But a cheap couple of burgers at Sams always hits the spot... especially when you have a hangover. Prefer this place to KFC.

Breakfast http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/irish-restaurants/king-sitric-nw23ed.html#r16903 I just enjoy coming here for breakfast. Good food and right by the main drag.. so you can relax watch the locals wandering outside trying to catch a bus. Fresh decor which is nice for Cricklewood.

Dive http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/pubs/the-crown-nw23ed.html#r16901 Never have I seen a more rag-tag bunch of party goers in my life. This place is a hive of International scum. The boys are sweaty and pervy and the girl seem to like it. You need to be well drunk to enjoy a night here. I have to say though, the staff are awesome and its great just for a laugh

best for BBQ and doner http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/fast-food-takeaway/kebabish-nw102qd.html#r3760 The best thing about there doner its taste so much better. First the cook on doner machine and than they fry it with onions. It taste wicked and the taste even gets better with a fresh naan straight from the clay oven. I think they are the only one in town who do fresh naan with all there kebabs. Worth trying. You will love it. It also been newly refurbished.

Every area needs a dive http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/brent/willesden-green/pubs/the-spotted-dog-nw102qd.html#r1071 Incredibly rough, the Spotted Dog doesn't endear itself to you when you first walk through the door. On my one visit to this location, I popped in during the day, and yet could still smell an air of hostility. Almost completely empty, the place just has something about it which threatens visitors. It does have positives. It has an acceptable array of lagers, and Fosters is priced at a perfect £2.50 (I hate places that charge an obscure ammount for a drink), it has a fun looking quiz machine, and it has two pool tables which are so incredibly knackered (and mismatched with an American style table and English balls) that you can but laugh at them. These don't hide the fact though that you might not get out with your life.
