Living in the area as I do, I find local amenities like this extremely useful .

And in an age when we are being told to decrease our carbon footprint, being able to walk to a library and borrow books is about the most eco-friendly way of getting your entertainment that I can imagine.

I do hope the library is not closed down. It would be a foolish "cost saving" measure that would result in far greater costs to us, the users!
