Always a long wait.. http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/bromley/hayes/english-restaurants/new-inn-harvester-the-br27ea.html#r50557 Even though the restaurant is nearly always pretty empty - staff here seem totally incompetant and you often have to wait a good few minutes before coughing loudly to get someones attention to be seated. Food is typical of the Harvester - can be ok but nothing to shout about - and when they get it wrong... they really get it wrong. Waited over an hour for a platter which then came out wrong and cold. Refused to pay and staff looked surprised. Best tasting thing in there is the wine.... Staff are so unproffesional, I felt like I was gate-crashing an 18th birthday party. Don't go!!

It was ok.... http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/bromley/hayes/indian-restaurants/ginger-br27ej.html#r50551 Went for buffet night one wednesday. Due to an emergency we had to leave after our starters, and not wishing to be rude, we asked if we could take our meals to eat later. The staff were quite rude and charged us £15 more than the cost of buffet night as apparently 'it was only available to sit in diners' even though we had been and were probably doing them a favour as the restaurant was busy and it allowed more customers to sit down. Food was good, nothing to rave about

One of many http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/bromley/hayes/indian-restaurants/asha-tandoori-br27ej.html#r26947 There are so many curry houses to choose from in the tiny street know as Hayes High Street. This is probably less popular than one further down. The food howver is good, its nothing amazing but never the less not a bad place to have a meal. Its more a traditional curry house than the others. The service is good and prices are average. It wouldn’t be my first choice but its still nice.

Yum Yip http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/bromley/hayes/chinese-restaurants/the-money-tree-chinese-take-away-br29be.html#r20945 This is the best Chinese take away in the area, we have tried most others and nothing compares to this one. The prices are good, quality and quantity of food are excellent. We have never had a bad meal from here…plus they deliver usually in 30 minutes so if you’re feeling naughty give it a try!

Relaxing! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/bromley/hayes/beauty-salons/the-beauty-concept-br27eq.html#r14347 This is a lovely beauticians…you will come out feeling gorgeous and relaxed!!! This little beauticians is located in Hayes High Street and the perfect place to come for a treatment. The massages are relaxing and the waxes are pain free (well almost). The nail treatments are great, I love the gel nails which are perfect for a special occasion. The staff are also lovely and the prices are average for the area!

Needs a makeover http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/bromley/hayes/english-restaurants/new-inn-harvester-the-br27ea.html#r14346 This could be a lovely pub and restaurant….but it needs a major referb. The building is stunning and it has a big presence at the top of Hayes High Street oppose the station. Unfortunately it was last decorated over a decade ago and it really shows. There is nothing wrong with the pub, it is just dingey and needs a make over! The food is typical Harvester food, which is great if you have kids to entertain and they are running riot! It is usually empty; it really needs to be updated!
