Boozey http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/the-rocket-nw12al.html#r25271 This is a large Scream pub on Euston Road close to both Kings X and Euston and so good for meeting people from the station.

Standard Scream fare - cheaper drinks with a yellow card, pool tables, quiz machines, footy on the tv and reliable but unhealthy food.

I like it in there though despite leaving my student days far behind.

Lasagne Rules OK http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/the-dolphin-tavern-wc1h9dw.html#r21569 A locals boozer with some of the best gents toilet grafitti in London and a perfect antidote to the trendier crowded enterprise over the road.

Booths are perfect for settling in for the evening and watching the world go by or setting it to rights.

Beause the pub is so tiny it can be a struggle to get seated between 6 and 8 but that's fine if you plan on hanging around.

Keep an eye out for the clock on the wall which stopped at 10.40pm on September 8th 1915, when a 50kg bomb dropped by Zeppelin L13 blew out the front of the pub.

GASH. http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/oneills-nw12qs.html#r5904 Awful food, dreadful service, about as much atmosphere as a soggy carrot stick. It's a good location - ideally situated for office drinks or pre-travel but then again, I wouldn't bother going here now that St Pancras has opened. I agree with Charles; the only O'Neills worth it's weight in Guinness is The Church in Muswell Hill. Avoid like the Irish plague.

For the sophisticated drinker http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/the-queens-larder-wc1n3ar.html#r2476 A lovely little room down stairs with out side seating greets customers. A quaint old style facade leads to a well stocked bar with a nice selection of ales. Real ale at £3.10 a pint is most enjoyable. As a treat for £4.60 a pint 6.5% Lieffe is avalible the most I have paid for a pint ever. The pub was busy when I used it with a group from the college across the road it was always possible to hear what was being said.

A TV is present. The rest of the pub was full of a few regulars and tourists some were heavy drinking Russian types on shots of Black Label. It is overall a nice pub for the sophisticated drinker and man or woman about town.

Nicest pud in Bloomsbury! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/skinners-arms-wc1h9nt.html#r2454 Went several times over the coure of my visit to london, great prices, good atmosphere and your really made to feel welcome. TV above the bar, and lots of seating. Good beers, including some real Ales and boddingtons on tap!

An old people's pub http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/the-boot-wc1h8bs.html#r2453 I was expecting it to be quiet and quite empty inside and i was correct. There was a pool table and a juke box and a tv, but not many people at all, just 'regulars'. Nice pub but not good if you want to be social with friends.

Great pub! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/the-queens-larder-wc1n3ar.html#r2422 Slight wine-bar feel to this place but still manages to maintain its pub-feel. Nicely decorated inside & is on the corner of a pedestrianised street/edge of a square so its great to stand outside. Slightly off the beaten track but still manages to be busy mid-week. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Not so good http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/bloomsbury/pubs/the-boot-wc1h8bs.html#r1602 Because The Skinners Arms was closed on Saturday, we had to go here as the next closest pub that was open.

This pub is the definition of a local pub. The decor is good but the atmosphere wasn't so great - a few local men sitting around drinking. The prices were also "standard" so there really isn't any particular reason to visit, especially if the Skinners Arms is open.
