A very pleasant pub http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/camden/pubs/the-victoria-nw17rr.html#r52539 Closer to the railway track than to any beaten track, The Victoria is a lovely, well-run pub just west of Camden High Street. The service is fast and friendly, seating is comfy and pleasingly ill-matched and there's a really nice courtyard out back. The food menu is limited to pizzas but they're tasty and very reasonably priced. There's a decent juke-box, too. The best pub in the area by a long gypsum-based writing instrument, in my opinion.

Made a regular out of me. http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/camden/pubs/prince-albert-nw10sg.html#r52463 My boyfriend and I have recently moved to Camden and came across The Prince Albert last week. We booked a table for dinner in the upstairs restaurant and we will definately go back. The food was of great quality and the staff were lovely. My Hot chocolate fondant could have been a little bigger though. We were also pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived with a 50% discount for a current promotion they are running. Great value for money. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Great atmosphere, rubbish staff http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/camden/pubs/edinboro-castle-nw17ru.html#r50726 Seven staff behind the bar on a Friday night and drinkers were still five-deep at the bar trying to get served! People were making friends and bonding over the twenty-minute waits for drinks.

The wide-eyed elvish girl serving was sweet, but looked at everything as if she'd never seen alcohol or money before. One of the bar staff couldn't even remember where the ice was, some ran around shouting about spare receipts and they ran out of clean wine glasses before 9pm.

Oh, and the music seemed to be the same bit of junky dance played on a ten-second loop over and over.

This is a huge shame because the decor, garden, cute fairy lights, etc are awesome, the chips we ordered were yummy. I would have had a great evening if I hadn't had to queue 20 mins every time I wanted another drink.

Better off-peak, I think :)

Had it's day http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/camden/pubs/the-crown-goose-nw17hp.html#r30872 This used to be named Time Out pub of the year. Although now the ambience seems the same now, it is always busy, it feels as though it's seen better days and probably isn't as popular as it once was. Does good Guiness

Very cool http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/camden/pubs/the-hawley-arms-nw18qu.html#r17174 I think this place used to be a bit of a biker hangout... but these days its one of Londons best known hip hang outs. Forget the fire... this place is still a picture postcard image of Londons current rock scene.

Yeah, good pub! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/camden/pubs/spread-eagle-nw17nb.html#r15516 I'm not too proud to admit this place was chosen cause the name made us laugh, but liked it a lot.

Nice booze, good lively atmosphere, and some good spots to sit outside.

Close enough to the Park to feel out of Camden, but two minutes walk to the tube.
