The food was good, although we only shared a selection of nibbles and mostly drank. They didn't have the biggest selection of cocktails but everything was fairly priced and the service was excellent. Booking an area was easy and we got everything that we asked for. The downstairs bar was really lively on Saturday night, and I hadn't even known it was there-with nice quiet booths off the dancefloor. I was pleasantly surprised!!

Never too many people, and they don't usually run out of cash either. And as they're Barclay's machines you don't get charged either for most transactions.

I'm sure in the evenings it's very lively, but it's generally pretty quiet at lunchtime - you can egenrally get a pretty big group in here without any problems - the salads are great.

The following was experienced: # Non provision of itemised bill # Ill- mannered & rude waiters. # Lack of proper crockery. When asked for quater plates with the main course the waiter had the audacity to ask why do you need it... # Serving small portions in big plates # When asked for the hotel manager / owner we were told that he was on holiday for 1 month and that they have no supervisor. The cuts and colours I have had at Hair Junction have been exactly what I asked for and the prices are very nice too.

This is a very low key place but you'll be pleased you found it.

Local actors and musicians from theatreland always get their hair done here.
