Great food, great atmosphere, and great service.

It's not cheap, but you get good value for your well earned Mulla.

I'd recommend the Barra Kebab Tandoor dish, but get some additional yogurt sauce with that to make it a bit more interesting!

The inner appearance is very good. The food is traditional indian currys, i thought the naan breads were very good. i would recommend to a friend.

Indus Bangkok (Sukhumvit Soi 26) has been around for a while and tonight was the best chance to check it out.

Bangkok has a thriving Indian community and with that you’d expect a good dose of establishments serving amazing dishes, but in reality they don’t live up to the hype. I’m biased when it comes to proper Indian cuisine, having spent a fair chunk of time on the continent and also living in Europe’s grandest Indian street, Brick Lane, East London.

Upon entering Indus, you are greeted with stunning architecture and interior design. This isn’t some room pretending to be the Taj Mahal, but a well designed and intriguing atmosphere which adds to the vibe. Numerous awards are displayed to those who enter through the wooden doors and you are greeted by staff who actually look like they are happy to welcome you there.

The bar area is pleasant, but that’s not why we were there so a later review will happen on that aspect. The menu is the key part of this Indian experience, with Northern and Southern cuisine well represented. The dishes are reasonable priced, with your average being between 300 and 500 baht and each of the dishes did not disappoint at all.

In the end, Indus really does deliver a fantastic Indian meal. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a bleedin’ good ruby!

The following was experienced: # Non provision of itemised bill # Ill- mannered & rude waiters. # Lack of proper crockery. When asked for quater plates with the main course the waiter had the audacity to ask why do you need it... # Serving small portions in big plates # When asked for the hotel manager / owner we were told that he was on holiday for 1 month and that they have no supervisor. Its ok and food isnt bad at all, they do have some great serving plates, we had some bread that came on a massive skewer for us to share. There are other curry houses though if you are looking for a nice sit down meal.
