<![CDATA[Greater London - Camden - Covent Garden - Eating, Drinking and Nightlife - Pizza Restaurants - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en I must've gone on a bad day. http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/fire-stone-wc2e7js.html#r56911 I must start off by saying that my pizza was excellent. Cannot fault that one bit. I think I had an Indian one with Mango Chutney on (something I made at home when I was bored once) and it really hit the spot.

Unfortunately the service was morbidly slow even though we weren't at an incredibly busy time. Our drinks took about 15 minutes to arrive despite the fact that we were sitting 8 feet from the bar and had ordered a bottled beer and a tap water. I noticed two couples nearby us had the same complaint as well.

The food that wasn't pizza was rather underwhelming. The chicken in the salad was almost certainly pre-cooked supermarket stuff and you could see by looking that the tomatoes weren't ripe. I know it is a pizza restaurant but if it's on the menu then some effort should go in.

That being said, someone did come and apologise to us after we had taken the tip off the bill. After hearing lots about this place I think that I must've just caught them at a bad time. If going I suggest sticking to solely to pizza as it's the only standout feature of the restaurant.

Re-Fit! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/pizza-hut-wc2n5lr.html#r42947 Yes this little pizza hut's had a re-fit!

seems much nicer now, staff are still as friendly, seems much cleaners now, and much more like a restaurant!

Usual pizza hut food, great if you're in a rush or buffet lunch.

Testing my Review http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/pizza-hut-wc2n5lr.html#r37698 Hi,

Just a test if the review is really added to my account.

This review is the first of all that I'm going to write on the internet.

Actually, it was my first visit to this site and I want to see how it is working.

Isn't Pizza ment to be Hot??? http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/pizza-hut-wc2n5lr.html#r20131 Today i called in to this Pizza Hut, and having used it several times before was amazed that the buffet was not even warm at best. I took 2 slices from a skillt that was brought straight out from the kitchen and found them luke warm and almost inedible. I complained to the staff who insisted that they had all been checked, in all fareness i did get a full refund with out any arguement.

different but nice! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/fire-stone-wc2e7js.html#r10976 This pizza place is surely not your average pizza place! They offer a range of pizzas from all over the world. Some of the combinations seem a bit weird and I on my first visit it took me some time to decide on what I wanted. I went for a New York Pizza with roast potatoes, bacon and sour cream and it was absolutely amazing. The portions are pretty big and you can easily share a pizza. They have great lunch offers so definitely worth a visit!

Yummy Pizza http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/fire-stone-wc2e7js.html#r10268 Probably my favourite pizza in London, Fire & Stone takes a different slant on pizza.

All the options are named after cities and the toppings represent that city. The base is pretty thick and the toppings pile on. Small potato pieces on a pizza may sound odd but trust us it works. The Canberra is my favourite.

They often have big offers on so it's worth checking their website or toptable.

A (pizza)breath of fresh air http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/fire-stone-wc2e7js.html#r9509 This place is really intriguing. They don't serve your usual selection of traditional Italian/European pizzas but rather a mix of pizzas with toppings based on the different cuisine’s around the world.

You can order a spicy, lamb-mince pizza from Marrakech or a green-chicken curry pizza from Koh Samui - weird but it works!

Also, and this is hard to believe, they have a lunch time deal of pizza & drink (inc. beer or wine) for £5. 6 of us ate their today for just £35! In central London!

And it tastes good and is a very cool, industrial-chic room.

By now you should have your coat on and be heading out the door to gorge yourself on the best value sushi-pizza you'll ever get your chops around.

Crazy Pizzas http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/pizza-restaurants/fire-stone-wc2e7js.html#r3375 I was impressed with this place. Nice decor, friendly service, reasonable prices.

What I wasn't so impressed with was the strange pizza I ordered. I went for the Bavarian pizza - Roast Pork, Cabbage, Sour Cream with cheese and a tomato base. I was hungover and I think this severely affected my judgement because the pizza was disgusting.

I'd probably give this a 4 stars if I had actually ordered a decent pizza but that pizza was truly revolting. Sometimes it pays to play it safe.
