Gena (the hairdresser) was brilliant and knew her stuff. Lily said she was lovely and the short time i was with them both, i'd have to agree. will defo going back there again in the near future. Great staff, all very friendly and good at what they do! Theres a beauty salon upstairs too if youve got extra time to indulge yourself with the best priced manicures/pedicures I have come across in central London. BIG recommendations!

The cuts and colours I have had at Hair Junction have been exactly what I asked for and the prices are very nice too.

This is a very low key place but you'll be pleased you found it.

Local actors and musicians from theatreland always get their hair done here.

This place has always been good in my experience (for mens hair cuts).

They offer very friendly service and can always offer appointments at short notice. So if you are looking for a reasonably priced (for Central London) hair cut then this is the place for you!

I'm not too fussy about my hair cuts as i have curly hair so it generally always looks a mess! But i do expect the person holding the scissors to at least look at what she is doing, rather than watch the world go by outside!

Seriously - she wasn't paying attention. Which she proved when she cut herself. Having to wait while she found a plaster was not good.

It describes itself as a 'Concept Salon' but apart from the TVs blaring adverts at you i see no evidence of new or abstract ideas. But then again it's only a hairdresser and not a Oxford College, which is exactly how i like my hairdressers - straightforward, firendly and good value.

Tim the owner is often available at short notice (not sure if that's a good thing) but he's a nice guy and does a good trim. I see lots of women in there getting a range of cuts and treatments and they all seem happy enough with the service.

The prices are also very reasonable - £20 for a gents haircut in central london is great - much cheaper than places like Fish where you pay extra to cover the cost of their painfully-cool salon accessories and horde of indie-kid-hairdresser-wannabies who hang around like teenagers at an X-Factor audition.

If you want a good, reliable haircut in a unpretentious place at good value then go to O'Sullivans.

Although it is a very trendy place, it is relaxed and friendly. They are also fantastic at cutting hair. Leanne has been cutting my hair for a few years and although I have tried other well known hair dressers it is no match for Rush! She is also speedy and does a complicated cut in my lunch hour. Which is perfect. You will love this place, check it out!

For guys a wash and cut is £13. No appointment needed and they are open at the weekends and till 7pm most nights. Very stylish place. They do all hair stuff, tanning, tatoos and nails. Great if you work in the area and need a last minute cut. Only drawback if they only take cash. There is a cash machine nearby but doesn't always work.
