The WOW Factor! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/fashion-shops/fred-perry-wc2e8hd.html#r47909 Yes this is exactly what the shop has...the WOW Factor! Fred Perry, covent garden is such a small shop yet it has so many great pieces of clothing. Anybody who goes in there could spend a great amount of money. The only reason i've given it a 4* rating is the fact that it is quite pricey! The shop is a unisex shop, mostly for men though. The dresses for the girls/women are to die for (you'd pull any bloke in them!) and the cardigans and polo shirts for the boys/men look well slick on (whitwoo)! Get yourself down to this store, well worth the money, well worth the trip!

Phoney Psychic Readings http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/new-age-shops/mysteries-wc2h9eq.html#r47020 In September I paid £30 for a reading with a "psychic" called Marco.

None of his predictations came true. According to him I should've met the man I would be married to within 4 weeks of his reading, married within 6 months, get pregnant and move to another country, well ten months later, I am none of the above.

Don't waste your money it's all a con and they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

Sock-a-rama http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/womens-clothing/tabio-wc2h9pa.html#r46492 Japanese made socks in all shapes and sizes. Think of Paul Smith socks on acid. they also do kind of sock/glove hybrid things which the wife likes. They're socks but they have individual 'fingers' for your toes. I think they're a bit weird/possibly a tad kinky if you're into toes! Also lots of brightly coloured tights should you be a lady in need of some brightly coloured legwear.

The Mercedes of outdoor gear http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/skiing-equipment/north-face-wc2e7he.html#r45143 Ok, so it's pricey, but if you spend a lot of time in the great outdoors, either camping, yomping up a mountain, or even going to a festival and you have more money than sense, these guys will sort you out. Lovely kit in a lovely shop.

Cheap camping gear http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/camping-equipment/mountain-warehouse-wc2e7hg.html#r45138 Basically a discount shop selling the kind of clothes and gear you'll need if you're going camping. I wouldn't suggest you buy stuff here if you need 'technical performance' - but if you want stuff like lights, water bottles, and fleeces etc, then stock up from here

too old for this place! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/fashion-shops/urban-outfitters-wc2h9pr.html#r44159 As I begin the steady roll downhill into old-age, shops like this seemt o be standing on the sidelines, flicking the Vs at me and yelling obscenities at me, safe in the knowledge that I lack the necessary energy to do anything about. Fake vintage clothes at non-fake prices, 'cool' stuff that clearly isn't cool, piles of plastic tat which is meant to be ironic - wind up plastic grannies, god-awful overpriced kitschy plastic picture frames, strings of fairy lights with plastic flowers attached. Obligatory collection of cool music, includingt vinyl, so you can buy it, take it home, play it on one of your technics, once, then ignore it. Shops like this have been a portent of the incoming credit crunch for sometime, when we have enough money to piss away on the stuff shops like this sell, we clearly have too much easy credit. Right, back to Countdown....

Great Shop http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/covent-garden/fashion-shops/ozone-wc2e9ng.html#r43748 Great shop, fairly good selection and not that badly priced!

Staff are pleasant and it's a pleasure to shop there!

It's far enough away from Covent Garden to be rather quiet, but close enough to make it easy to get to.
