We wnet in May for this day our, my friend and I did have a nice day, and the photos turned out great. There is a lot of waiting around for one thing or another, so you just have to be patient!! However, after spending £660 on our photos, two months later we still ahve not received the pictures!! The service is terrible, and the only way after trying about 5 different numbers and none of them working, which i find suspicious, I got through on email and finally after a couple of emails saying their service was crap and wating to know where my pics are, some one wrote back. I have since two weeks later received the disc, but still no pics!! I do not reccommend anyone be sucked in by this!! It is such a shame as up until this point, we had a really nice day being pampered and loved the photos which were taken and thought they were very professional!!

But this branch of the Slug And Lettuce is exception. Not one that you'd probably go to this one at the weekend because I think it's shut, but if you work close by or are doing some post-work shopping at Oxford Circus then it's a pretty good choice for a restorative gin and tonic on a week day.

Half the bar has stools, high tables and bar service. The other half has big tables, comfy seats and table service. Food-wise, burgers are ok but I prefer the nachos to share.

Not a bad place for a spot of celeb spotting either...

]]> Thu, 26 Jun 2008 17:22:19 BST A fun, exciting experiance! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/fitzrovia/tourist-attractions/madame-tussauds-nw15ht.html#r46907 I would definatley visit Madam Tussaurds again, it thought it was a very entertaining day, and also fun for children, to rub shoulders with the stars-Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake proved to be a real treat, and my Fiancee very much enjoyed getting a very close look at Miss Kylie Manonoge!! Would recommend Tussaurds to people of all ages. I must visit again soon as i've heard there is new waxworks including the very gorgeous Johnny Depp!

If you are unsure on what to have they offer a 'tapas' style menu from which you can order multiple dishes and not feel like you have eaten a whole cow after polishing them all off and licking the plate clean. If you know what you are looking for there is also a large 'main course' menu consisting of larger portioned dishes.

I'd recommend avoiding puddings and sampling a couple of tequila's instead (they have a range of over 40 at varying prices).

On a weekend their is also a downstairs disco and this can lead to a rather odd dining experience but ignoring that the food is great and at a good price!
