<![CDATA[Greater London - Camden - Hampstead - Eating, Drinking and Nightlife - Fast Food Delivery - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en Has gone downhill... http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/fast-food-delivery/bombay-bicycle-club-nw31nr.html#r43569 Bombay Bicycle Club was fantastic at the beginning and remains better than the average curry house, but they've gone downhill over the last 6 months or so.

A friend of mine who used to use the Islington branch says the same thing happened to his local branch. It seems the company has expanded too quickly (now they're all over London) and they simply haven't had the time to train up enough chefs properly. Their system seems to be that the quality chef(s) hang around as a branch is opening, but then head off to assist with the launch of the next.

My last few orders have been distinctly average curries and delivered far later than expected.

It's a shame because I loved the Bombay Bicycle Club for being such a slick operation and they genuinely made the additional cost worthwhile. These days I'm not so sure.

A Cut Above Your Ordinary Indian Retaurant http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/fast-food-delivery/bombay-bicycle-club-nw31nr.html#r10233 The restaurant in Hampstead offers all those of us who now won't accept any other brand of Indian takeaway the option to break away from your meal in front of the TV and go out for dinner.

As the previous reviewer says, this is never going to be your cheapest curry, and can be a bit confusing with renamed dishes but the food and surroundings are great.

It's still not any better on the waistline than any other curry but with this place it's worth it!
