<![CDATA[Greater London - Camden - Hampstead - Eating, Drinking and Nightlife - Pubs - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en As pubs should be.. http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/the-flask-tavern-nw31he.html#r30378 This charming little pub is tucked away in the aptly named flask lane. We stopped here on our way to the tube from a walk round Hampstead heath on a sunny bank holiday and luckily got a table outside. The bitter was good ahich is becoming a rarity!

Newish Gastro Pub in Hampstead http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/the-horseshoe-nw36te.html#r27065 The Horseshoe is a newish renovation of an older pub. They've done a good job with weather wooden chairs and tables paired with modern paintwork.

The pub is always full on a Friday evening with drinkers, and eaters. Towards the back of the pub there is a restaurant serving a quality menu with a British bent.

It is not the cheapest meal you will have, but then you are in Hampstead.

I still prefer the menu at The Wells Inn, but that can be quite difficult to get into. In these situations The Horsehoe is a good back up.

Best Gastr Pub Meal in Hampstead http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/the-wells-tavern-nw31bx.html#r27060 I would agree with Sophie that this is the best gastro pub meal you will get in Hampstead.

I've eaten downstairs, which is the casual pub area, where you can eat inside or outside, and I've eaten upstairs, which is a smart restaurant.

The food is great. It will not be the cheapest meal you've had, expecially if you eat upstairs, but you'll definitely enjoy it!

Gastropub http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/the-wells-tavern-nw31bx.html#r24746 This is a gastropub in Hampstead. I've been here for a little sneak during a walk with my friends on a sunday afternoon. This place is modern and comfortable. We enjoied our time here and we ate very well. Food is very good and there's a nice wide range that makes difficult to pick out something to eat (above all for desserts).

well worth a visit http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/the-wells-tavern-nw31bx.html#r12460 down the most charmingly higgledipiggledy street in Hampstead this is the best gastro pub in the area. There is a smart restaurant upstairs for a more decadent occasion, but the food downstairs is just as good. Pricey, but so much better than standard gasto pub fare.

Nice pub in Hampstead http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/the-flask-tavern-nw31he.html#r8943 Not much to say except we had a good and very boozy night in The Flask last night and I liked it. Not overly busy for a Saturday night and a good mix of locals and other punters of all ages.

Just around the corner from Hampstead tube so it'd be a good place to meet up with people.

Busiest pub in the world http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/ye-olde-white-bear-nw31lj.html#r2396 If your planning on going here for Sunday lunch then take my advice "book in advance". It gets so busy!! But fair enough it is very nice inside with the open fire place roaring away in the winter and the food is alot better than your standard pub menu. As the pub is tucked away in the little hidden streets of Hampstead, its a very locals local, which is good in a way as its not full of tourists anoying you! The only negative thing i found was the people that turned up to eat without booking would seem to stare at you, waiting for you to fininsh so they could swoop in and take your table.

traditional pub http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/hampstead/pubs/the-holly-bush-nw36sg.html#r2131 One of the best pubs in Hempsted, not to far away from the high street and situated in a expensive suburban area. This traditional pub originated in the 70's and has a friendly warm welcoming atmosphere. They serve some brilliant real ale. There are usually two time slots for serving lunch and dinner from monday to friday, the food tastes delicious.
