So imagine my shock (and horror) when I returned to discover one of my favourite eateries had a. had the world worst facelift you've ever seen (it looks a Wendy House), b. the service was atrocious and c. the food - once so good - hadn't just gone down hill but had very nearly plumetted off the edge of a cliff. I'm not sure what went wrong - whether it is now under new management or what - but something sure went amiss. I took my friends there, singing its praises, and was really embarrassed when everyone descibed the food - rather reluctantly - as 'okay'. What a shame.
