<![CDATA[Greater London - Camden - Kentish Town - Home and Garden - Builders - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en !!Don’t touch this company with a bargepole!! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/kentish-town/builders/heathfield-construction-nw51lx.html#r13393 Don’t touch this company with a bargepole. If you want your building job completed, let alone carried out to a good or even satisfactory standard, choose another Building company. My daughter (a young single female) was left with no heating or hot water, 1 socket working, a couple of lights, an unfinished roof to the extension and a gaping hole where the patio door should have been, in the middle of winter. The Builders (managed by Michael Barnes) simply walked out saying they had run out of money despite having been paid 96% of the contract cost but only having completed about 65% of the work. This was also a week after the scheduled completion date.

Not only was she left in this appalling situation (incl. plumbing, plastering, electrics etc. still to be done) but it transpired that some of the work that had been done was incorrect and had to be redone.

The company Director (Keith Deacon Ramsay) assured my daughter the matter would be resolved but 2.5 months later nothing has been done to recompense her for the additional costs of bringing in other builders to correct and complete the work. Should they eventually settle with my daughter, I’ll update this review.

In the meantime, you have been warned….
