Sounds like this Amanada C. must have been a nighmare Landlord, lucky escape for Olivers I say.

Why Estate Agents Have a Bad Rep http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/kentish-town/estate-agents/olivers-nw52ju.html#r51645 I am fuming about Oliver's Kentish Town, specifically Imran. What a weasel he stole a tenant from another E/A on my doorstep! He lied and took money from them to secure my flat without a signed agreement by me. I cancelled the deal with Oliver's when I found out what he'd been up to. Unsurprisingly the tenant is no longer interested, I now have to go through the whole process again!! He also cost Oliver's money by paying a photographer for pictures that will never be seen. WHAT A LOSER !!!

good sometimes great http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/kentish-town/estate-agents/keatons-nw52ag.html#r1704 I contacted keatons when I had to rent a flat in Camden. The whole service was just right, but there was almost no "that extra something" that would make me REALLY recommend it to someone.

Everyone there is nice and polite. The service is good, and they wont offer you something you say upfront you are not interested in (poor quality flats etc.) although they will try to show you some places which are sometimes overpriced.

As usual (I guess its the case with all agents in London) they will politely push you to sign the agreement and pay the money as quick as possible - but thats fairly understandable, right? :-)

All in total - good service, nice office, polite people - everything you could expect from a properties agent, but again.. nothing that would make me madly keen about them!

I don't like estate agents http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/camden/kentish-town/estate-agents/olivers-nw52ju.html#r1325 In fact on the whole I hate them. It's nothing personal but I don't like being lied to...

So I have to say Oliver's in Kentish Town are actually pretty good. The one guy I have a lot of respect for is Blu (strange name yes, but like the colour blue without the e). He's never actually rented me a flat so I'm not biased, he's just shown me round a lot of them. I really liked one time we went into a flat he hadn't seen, it was clearly crap and in about 30 secs he said nah, this is crap let's move on... Refreshing...

Victor's also cool. He's a bit of a wide-boy (sorry if you ever read this but you are!) but cool all the same. And honest.
