<![CDATA[Greater London - Harrow - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en Very dissapointing http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/harrow/harrow/unisex-hairdressers/headmasters-harrow-ha12aa.html#r50535 Hi

I had an appt with headmasters for the 1st time. was expecting a good experience as it looks good inside and comfortable and prestige.

However, I was told that I had to come back later as they were busy! was very dissapointed I did not even get a phone call to let me know.

Will NOT be going back there again.

Golden Palace http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/harrow/harrow/chinese-restaurants/golden-palace-ha12rh.html#r48812 The vegetarian dim sum is excellent- amongst the best of the bunch you get in Central London. Why tube it in to the West End, when equally you can have, great value, great food in the ethnically diverse environs of Harrow.

Service is excellent and portions are generous. My particular favourites include bean curd in a black bean sauce and vegetarian singapore noodles and finish off the meal with custard buns for dessert.

Due to it's popularity waiting times tend to be long

If you are looking for value for money and good quality food, why not give this restaurant a go!

Best in the area http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/harrow/harrow/dry-cleaners/le-pristine-drycleaners-ha26pl.html#r45961 This is the only dry cleaners in Harrow that I really trust, having had lots of trouble with several others which are much closer to my house. I did worry when I saw the shop all empty recently but it seems that they've just moved around the corner slightly.

Massive. Massive. Massive http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/harrow/harrow/other-restaurants/blue-ginger-bar-restaurant-ha30ah.html#r43611 As soon as you step into this venue, the biggest thing that hits you is the sheer size of the place. It stretches on and on, and you feel like you've been invited to a mansion rather than a retaurant. I don't know quite how many people they fit into that place, but they fit them in a classy surrounding whilst keeping a top notch service too. There are too many converted pub into Indian bar/restaurants in London and they seem to get stuck when it comes to decorating; often Asian decoration doesn't clash too well with traditional pub decor; it's weird. But Blue Ginger have completely overhauled the whole thing with the biggest bar I've ever seen, all shiny and erm blue. The carpets are blue, the lights are blue, it's all in the name really! The food is good, not spectacular but you won't be complaining either. Just be warned some dishes can be disspointingly watery or bland, so be sure to ask the waiter for a recommendation. This place features massive tables, lounge seats with low slung coffee tables and bar stools ensuring everybody is comfy! It is always fully booked on a weekend (always a decent indication of how good a place is!) It's a fantastic place for a big group of people, think corporate meal or trying to impress a client and your going along the right lines. It's also a fantastic place if you want to catch a game of football with your mates, or go out for some general banter in the relaxed lounge style seating area. Prices are average, about 40 to 50 pounds for four people.

Poor quality plants http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/harrow/harrow/garden-centres/the-plantation-garden-centre-ha12bw.html#r42874 Stacked high with plants some of them do not look well cared for. Only two tills so the que is long especially on a Sunday so expect a long wait. Can get cheaper most of the stuff at one of the DIY stores and the plants/flowers are better quality.

Spend a day improving your technique get help from the professionals with tips to up your game. There is a mini golf for the kids and a baseball cage for if you want to test you USA swing action. There is a shop if you fancy getting the latest togs but it is not cheap.

Must visit http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/harrow/harrow/chinese-restaurants/noodle-city-ha12tb.html#r39013 Great for good quality Thai food. The service is basic but good for a "fast food" resturant. The decor is simple benches and the wine is not much to write home about but the food is what it is all about. Take away is fast and efficient and still hot when you get it home. Yoh Noodles!!!

Good range http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/harrow/hatch-end/garden-centres/carpenders-park-nursery-wd195ba.html#r36714 Changed from a normal down to earth garden center to a "posh" version with no increase in range just price. Staff are knowledgable about the plants though, but fi you can I would recommend a trip to Columbia Road Market in East London. Much cheaper prices and a nice morning out in the bargin...
