However, i could not afford main dealer Volvo prices, neither did i want to go to a non volvo dealer. I came across Soloautomotive (ex main Volvo dealer)by doing a google search. In one year, 2 services and a small repair, i have found their prices very competitive, excellent service, totally honest, always a courtesy car available.Cant ask for more!.

I was there recently with a couple of mates had a chicken wrap, freshly squeezed apple juice and smoked shisha. The food and drink was good, freshly prepared and really cheap at just under a fiver. There's a nice yard where you can watch sky sports and smoke if you are a smoker. For me, this cafe is a little gem in Hillingdon.

The portions were just right and the food was absolutely lovely!! We went because it was their 30th anniversary and they were doing 30 year old prices so it was 75p for some rice! The staff were very friendly and the seating and decoration is very nice. I would highly reccomend this to families with children and for people who want a quiet night out or just about anyone. So if you want the perfect curry, the Golden Curry house is definetly your place. They also do takeaways for people who like the experience at home.

We were sorely disappointed. Yes, the garden was spacious with lots of seating but that was about the only thing that was good. Firstly, for some reason, we were surrounded by wasps intent on attacking us! Secondly, they had run out of ice on one of the hottest days of the year. Thirdly, after being warned there was a 45 minute wait for food (which we were ok with), we waited for about an hour and 20 minutes before it arrived. When it did, it was very poor. They had run out of ingredients so my antipasti with houmous was houmousless and the bread on the sandwiches was dry and crispy. Not good at all. Won't be going back. Ever.

Ideal place to drink, eat and watch the canal barges go by.

Food is good, Parking is limited. Not far from Uxbridge Station walking distance. You may want to walk along the canal to the Swan and Bottle another good pub approx. 1 mile away.

It sits looking very pretty with its beautiful hanging baskets bursting with colour.

A pub I have enjoyed since the age of 10. It has been my childhood haunt - my eating hole with work colleagues and more recently a place to remenisce when going back from Oxford and visiting old friends.

Full of interesting articles, excellent food and local beers. Very much a local pub but visitors are always made welcome.
