Fantastic http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/hounslow/hounslow/night-clubs/hounslow-conservative-club-tw34bx.html#r54939 What a Club! Offers plenty of activities including bowls on probably one of the best greens in West London, tennis, snooker, darts, pool, linedancing, airpistol/rifle shooting range, bingo, quiz and dances to live acts. Very competitive food and bar prices. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Give it a try.

Quite a good little place http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/hounslow/hounslow/other-restaurants/whitton-tandoori-tw45np.html#r53534 I'm awarding this establishemnt 4 stars, but don't get carried away. This is not the ultimate in Indian cuisine, however it does consistently deliver decent if slightly greasy nosh. Situated near the Duke of York pub at the junction between Hanworth Road and Powder Mill Lane it's wise to exercise a bit of caution when visiting as the area is frequented by yobs from the nearby Edgar Road estate. First impressions on entering are not great. Touch the surface of the tables in the waiting area and your hand will sense a certain greasy film which has accumulated since goodness knows how long. Fortunately it is the food which is the raison d'etre of this take-away and that is normally quite flavoursome and the general impression is that the veg and rice are reasonably fresh (can't speak for the meat and fish as I don't eat it). The spices are applied conservatively, meaning you won't get your tongue burnt off if you order a biriani.

Cheapo http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/hounslow/hounslow/department-stores/wilkinson-tw31es.html#r40632 Wilinsons is the cheapest best value shop i think i have ever been in, not like the pound shop places that are full of things you dont really need, Wilkinsons has some great DIY things and tools for next to nothing.

Sadly Disappointed http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/hounslow/hounslow/funeral-directors/abbey-funeral-directors-tw27aj.html#r17999 Abbey recently carried out the funeral of my Uncle. The family were hugely disappointed with the level of service. The family flowers were not placed on the coffin. The pall bearers almost dropped the coffin and the service itself, given by an employee of Abbey, was ill prepared and badly presented.
