<![CDATA[Greater London - Islington - Archway - Shopping and Amenities - Supermarkets - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en Better Than Morrisons http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/islington/archway/supermarkets/sainsburys-local-n195ss.html#r13424 Alex M is spot on. There is never enough stock, which although is linked to the size of the store it isn't good enough. Unless you get there early in the day there is never enough bread, the choice of frozen food is laughable and there's never a full selection of sauages. In all honesty you wouldn't do your full shop in there (its frankly impossible) but it is good if you happen to run out of something or you need to use your card to get some emergency groceries. And that cash-point is not the best - either the screen quality is so poor you can't read it or the buttons are covered in spit,

Despite all the stock issues I would still rather shop here than in that shower of a Morrisons down the road.

Friendly Helpful Staff http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/islington/archway/supermarkets/sainsburys-local-n195ss.html#r1089 This is a very small local branch which suffers greatly from very poor stock availability levels especially on fruit and vegetables. At certain times of the whole shelves are bare including the bread and other necessities. The store looks fairly run down and is in need of refurbishment. Due to the small size only a small range of products can be stocked and if you're a regular shopper the lack of options can become tiresome. There is also a Sainsbury's cash point outside which appears to be out of order half of the time. On the good side though when it does have stock it's of good quality and the staff have always been friendly and helpful.
