The sarnis were deliciously fresh.. You can tell it wasn't made yesterday or even dawn that day!! It's like a proper deli!

And yes, the coffee isn't the usual costa milky type! It's soooo smooth!

Who I actually met one time as they were tendering for a supplies contract at my work in Canary Wharf - They are lovely down to earth people!!

Food is really good and big portions. One of my favorite cafes in Farringdon, the sandwich fillings are delicious, the coffee is great and staff are very friendly and efficient. Also - there is a very tasty manager who works in there with a cheeky smile. I would highly recommend as a lunch time spot.

You won't be disappointed. Grab a sandwich too, while you're there. Benugo also offers a business lunch service, delivering platters of excellent sandwiches, salads, cut fruit and cakes, that is head and shoulders over anything offered by Pret a Manger.

I was at first a little overwhelmed by the amount of choice that they offer, but I soon sorted through the vast selection to discover something that took my fancy.

They make bespoke sandwiches and lots of pastas, salads, pies, soups, bagels and lots more. It all looked so good. The food is really fresh and freshly prepared in front of you. This place really shows up larger chain establishment for their lack of choice.

The prices really surprised me too, they were really reasonable. I managed to walk out with a huge filling tasty lunch for about £3.45. Now that is value!

Timing is everything and if you leave it past 12:20 to get your lunch, expect a lengthy queue.

Nice bread helps make it a complete package.

The coffee here is also very good; the standard of a regular coffee place (without Starbucks prices) shows that they take coffee seriously.

Benugos. Freshly made sandwiches. Made in front of you, hot or cold, with lots of salads too. You can eat in round the back of the counter or takeaway sandwiches in nice shiney silver wrapping. Interesting breads and rolls used in them too.

It is more expensive though than you're usual lunchtime sandwich. Around £3.50 - £4.00. The special changes each day but you'll notice that over the long term they don't really which means that it can become a bit repetitive after a while (Like most sandwich shops I suppose)

Favourite: Turkey, bacon, brie and cranberry. Toasted.

It also has wifi so you can surf the internet while enjoying a cup of coffee. The downstairs area is also good for meeting up with friends for a quiet chat.
