<![CDATA[Greater London - Lambeth - Kennington - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en Here, here! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/cash-machines/link-cash-machine-se114rs.html#r51826 Damn those wretched link cash machines. They're the modern day Dick Turpin.

You go to the cornershop to buy a loaf of bread and end up having to pay more to the one-arm-bandit hole in the wall than you do to the shop owner.

It's daylight robbery I tell you, daylight robbery! Grrrrr

hate paying to take my money out! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/cash-machines/link-cash-machine-se114rs.html#r51809 i totally resent having to pay to withdraw my own money... these should be outlawed. On this road there are two cashpoints - both charge. We need to protest againt this!

Family Woolworths http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/department-stores/woolworths-se16ta.html#r39126 Anything for the kids in here is great value, as it doesnt lose the now factor with price. All the latest nickelodeon characthers are here on lunch boxes and pads and pens etc. Plus the cds are cheaper in here than anywhere else.

the best in the area http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/indian-restaurants/the-kennington-tandoori-se114qe.html#r32343 The KT has an inventive Indian menu (for example, salads in the summer), and great service. A really friendly and popular place to go. Best to book in advance.

if you're into your history, you'll love it! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/pubs/the-hampton-court-palace-se173an.html#r27487 I went here on a school trip years ago and keep meaning to go back... I''m not selling it to you am I? Well it's a huge house that Henry VIII lived in. You know - the guy with all those wives - how did he cope?! Chances are you can find out here - they have tours available and loads of information scattered about the place so if you're into your history then you'll love the place.

If you're not into your history then you might enjoy the fabulous gardens outside - it's even got a maze for you to go get lost in which is quite fun, until it becomes frustrating when you can't find the way out... But that's your own fault for getting lost!

Fanastic day out http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/pubs/the-hampton-court-palace-se173an.html#r26989 This place is soooo interesting, I would recommend the headphone tour cause you can do it in your own pace and go over bits if you don't know alot of the history to begin with

Very imformative and the scones and the clotted cream is out of this world I am still craving that tatse now!

Really interesting http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/museums-art-galleries/imperial-war-museum-se16hz.html#r24438 I really enjoyed my visit here - full with lots of interesting facts and exhibitions, when I went they was a very harrowing Holocaust exhibition which although hard to look at gave a great insight into the time - they do history really well.

Tanks and stuff http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lambeth/kennington/museums-art-galleries/imperial-war-museum-se16hz.html#r22107 I spent hours in here and only looked aorund the entrance, which is full of tanks and stuff. Very interesting, but i suspect more so if you are a boy! Also looked aorund the children in WW2 section which was quite moving and interesting. It's not a boring museum, but not hands on either. It's free to get in but the cafe is an absolute rip off! And the cake is gross!
