The building insurance is underwritten with a branch of Norwich Union who deals with brokers only, I cannot get to speak with anyone there direct either.

Since Embro Mallet cannot be bothered to help existing customers, this leaves me stuck with a huge premium and a building I cannot insure, with anyone else as my claims have been badly dealt with. There are two clear third parties whom Embro Mallet/ Norwhich Union can claim for damages to my building from, yet both choose to do nothing but raise my premiums and take my money with no recourse... You have been warned... My direct debit is with Norwich Union and Embro Mallet tried to have me change it to them, in which I saw no benefit at this time... Embro Mallet then wrote to me saying my policy wouldn't be renewed. A call to Norwich Union confirmed they were still collecting my renewal premiums, albeit at double the rate from the year before...
