Lovey! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lewisham/catford/theatres/broadway-theatre-se64ru.html#r12256 You have to love this gem of a theatre in the heart of the not so nice Catford. Its old architecture is beautiful and they show a nice mixture of local plays/shows to more known shows. I have been to Xmas pantomime here...lots of fun! Also its a great place if you are in a local Stage School etc, its a lovely stage to preform on and back stage is large enough for a big cast.

Avoid http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lewisham/catford/unisex-hairdressers/meo-neo-uno-se64px.html#r9533 avoid like the plague. the staff there are extremely rude. On several occaisions, I had an appointment first thing in the morning and ended up having to wait an extra 20 minutes or so before someone actually arrived and opened the shop. On both occaisions, my presence was hardly acknowledged and I didn't even get as much as an apology. If you book a hair treatment, I suggest you get them to write it down on a piece of paper and sign it. In my case, I pre-booked a treatment and was unfortunately on the day of the treatment the computer system had broken down. I was told that I requested something else and the person in charge even had the cheek to continue with her mindless argument after I sent the booking slip as proof.

They like to wind you up http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lewisham/catford/tyre-dealers/watling-tyres-se64jd.html#r9323 Going to a tyre dealer is not my favourite journey as they like to spin a yarn and will not want to fit a tyre they have not sold you. And so it was when I went to change my front tyre as it had worn very strangly I wondered what the previous owner up been doing?

I had bought my tyre on e-bay for £40 plus £8 postage. They tyre fitter took one look at it and had it condemed. It was 27 years old, the rubber was hard an out of production model. I said just put it on and I will try it out. No no he said I would not I will sell you a new tyre for £95 instead. Having been turn away from to two other Motorcycle shops I decided enough was enough and just get a new tyre from him.

These crazy tyre dealers drum up business like this it seems. On contacting the shop that sold me the tyre I was told it could be 7 years old and would be no trouble at all if fitted to my bike. All the aggro made me forget my pin number lucky I had the cash on me as if I had of tried to use a pin less credit card their whole world would have collapsed?

Very happy http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/lewisham/catford/builders/d-p-paterson-se61et.html#r3315 Patersons undertook a total refurb of our house including: install heating, rewiring, new kitchen (including knocking two rooms together removing chimney breast and fittiing RSJs, fitting patio doors, fit units, etc). new bathrooms, re-plaster and redecorate throughout and they recommended an excellent plumber and electricians.

This was done while we lived in the house with two small children. They made every effort to minimisie the inconvenience and were always friendly and professional.

I have no hesitation in recommending them.
