Mobeens http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/newham/east-ham/fast-food-takeaway/mobeen-take-away-e61jg.html#r49841 Mobeens is an excellent choice for a a sit down meal, its reasonalbly priced , lots of variety , and very tasty. If only they were licensed to sell alcohol to accompany the food it would really hit the spot.

Well below expectations says it all... http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/newham/upton-park/furniture-shops/mattucci-e63bb.html#r43401 I encountered pushy salesmen who blatantly lied about the quality of the leather of the sofa I ordered and how two of the pieces fitted together. When I tried to address this with Mattucci they kept mysteriously disappearing and changing contact numbers. I was utterly disappointed with a very expensive sofa which was not as it was promised to be.

Dont think I'll use it again! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/newham/custom-house/airports/london-city-airport-e162px.html#r42851 After my trek's to heathrow I was happy to be trying out London City Airport the other week... closer to mine, convient... but how dissapointed I was!

Ok to start with the DLR, such a hit & miss... was a miss, almost missed my flight!!

Very crowded departure lounge.. really not impressed and VERY rude staff, especially the people thru passport control, was I going on a trip, or going to Prison??!!!

I completely agree with Sarah, GATWICK IS THE WAY TO GO!!

;0)

Mission hole http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/newham/custom-house/airports/london-city-airport-e162px.html#r42759 If I have the choice of which London airport to use this is definitly not top of the list.

It is a pain to get to epecially if the DLR is not working.

The airport itself is small and uncomfortable. The staff are rude and unhelpful.

Gatwick is the way forward!

Its just another brick in the wall http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/newham/upton-park/sports-clubs/west-ham-united-football-club-e139az.html#r42452 When the new stand was built about 6 years ago I bought a brick. So, next time you're there, have a look for the Hardy brick. I've never found it, it's probably being poo-d on by the birds at the top. Love the Hammers.

Gotta Dash http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/newham/custom-house/airports/london-city-airport-e162px.html#r41999 I’d much rather get the Eurostar for a short break to Europe but if I have to fly – city airport is my favoured choice. It’s easy and cheap to get to on the DLR, it is only a hop skip and a jump to the plane and your bags are pretty much waiting for you when you get off the plane. All in all it is very stress free and this never seems to happen at the bigger airports. Also the approach is an experience as you don’t often fly past buildings and be able to see into windows!!!
