After placing a very large order (£50) and waiting over an hour and a half, I called to check on my order but no branch of the chain would take responsibility for it. I was hung up on by one branch and when I finally found someone who could even find my order on their system I was told that it hadn't even been made. When they finally found which branch was making it, it seems my order for NW1 was being made in RICHMOND. Not exactly local to Camden!

I am still waiting for my food over 2 hours later with no update on when or if it will arrive - this despite the confirmation email I received from their site and my card being charged for the £50.

Never again.

This place really does get it right. Friendly enough bar staff, reasonable prices - clientelle all above par. But what makes this place work is its layout and decor. It just "fits". Cozy sofas and enough nooks and crannies for a couple to feel at home, but also plenty of bar stools for the solo drinker, then a decent space for small to largish groups who want to meet en masse. Also don't be fooled by the old adage "an empty restaurant is empty for a reason" - eaten there 4 times with never less than 3 in the group and despite everytime us being the only ones eating, the food was siply superb, great choice and top quality. Owners seem friendly as well which is never a bad thing

Its very much a locals pub with a chilled and relaxed atmosphere and no tourists.

The staff are quick and friendly and i would definitely recommend this one.

It looks rather dingy with the leather benches and booths but the food is really tasty. I always go for the 'non spicy' options and they are delicious.. Creamy masala, kormas and mouthwatering vegetarian dishes go down a treat.

The atmosphere is intimate and the papadoms are fresh and so moreish that it's hard to resist not just eating them!

My Dad says the lamb special is a winner - it comes out on a sizzling hot plate and looks very good.

Not expensive, good value for money and one of the best indians in Twickenham.

It took about an hour and quarter to prepare it but they had warned us it would take about an hour. The food was very tasty. The trouble was there was so little of it. It looked like they were running out and were spreading it too thinly across portions. When I phoned to tell them, I spoke to the man who had just put it in the containers and he said it was a normal portion size, and it looked small because it was in a big pot (which it wasn't). When we plated it up there was enough for a good sized starter. He said there was nothing he could do now and next time we came in we could get a discount. When I said that that didn't really help me now and could he make some more because we had guests; he started shouting and said he never wanted my custom again and then hung up! At least he'll be happy that he's not getting my custom again.

It was doubly disappointing because the food was actually quite nice.

Was pleasantly surprised yesterday to find out that the restaurant is actually a quaint little stable building tucked away to the side, which served some of the nicest Thai food I've ever had.

Really fresh, full of flavour, and the service was incredibly quick, attentive, but not pushy. Highly recommend giving it a try...

I went woith a group of friends and had lunch and it was really good. A great selection of home made dishes that are served hot and with a smile.

It's right on the river edge so you can sit out in summer and lap up the sun shine or you can sit inside by the window seats and snuggle up in winter and watch the cold river flow. It really is a lovely pub and I would highly recomend it.
