This places sells Lego, Brio, Doctor Who stuff, all the usual stuff, plus the odd wooden scooter, plastic sword, mad things to throw and catch etc. Not a great range, but helpful staff.

If you want to buy a new bike but aren't sure what to get, they'll take the time to discuss your requirements and make some suggestions. When I got a bike from them, I got some extra gear like a kiddy seat, mudguards, panniers and they changed the handlebar for me, and charged me nothing extra for the work they did setting the bike up and didn't let me go until I was happy with it. They're great for repairs and servicing, but you'll need to book well in advance as they're often very busy. Limited range of gear, but they'll order stuff in for you if they don't have it. My favourite bike shop in London, and I've been in loads.

The highly imaginative window displays, never fail to draw me in. My favourite was the recent Maurice Sendak scene.

The staff give very helpful suggestions if you're stuck for choice. The Tuesday morning storytelling for under 5s by Once Upon A Story http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/southwark/herne-hill/childrens-activity-playcentres/once-upon-a-story-sw22dp.html is not to be missed.

In that Time I have been very happy with the service from them. The produce is always fresh and of good quality. I have only had 2 occurrences of having something that was not up to the normal standard, and when I complained I was given a replacement the following week!

I alternate between a medium veg box, and the fruit and veg box as there are only 2 people in our household. I also get my milk from them too (and eggs on the occasions my own hens are not in the laying mood).
