Oh no they won't just try and get them to do it. I ended up giving up after three attempts I tried this branch, Greenwich branch and another in the local area. Come back tomorrow I was told but when I did they were always busy.

I ended up getting my own mechanic to do the job. The parts at halfords come to £30.77 which included an air filter as well as the oil and oil filter and I gave the mechanic £30 for his trouble. No wonder Kwik Fit did not want to do the service it's a scam.
