Beautiful and very relaxing chill out area with delish teas/juices etc. AMAZING massages and facials which make you leave in a bubble, floating on air. This was going to prove very fiddly for me, even though I am a reasonably decent seamstress and have my own sewing machine.

But the quality of the drapes, the thermal lining, the backing and the extra 22” inches I didn’t need, would be a task too great for my skills. Jane Avery of Covers up is a perfectionist and extremely reliable. She came to the house to give me an estimate, a very fair and reasonable estimate I might add and took away the first panel to alter then and there. She delivered it and collected the second panel, altered that and returned it in just over 4 week’s time. I was told it would take longer and I was happy to wait but Jane managed to get the job done sooner and her work is exquisite.

I highly recommend her work, her cheery personality and her perfectionism that made the whole job worth every penny I spent – and truth be told, I didn’t spend that much in the overall scheme of things!

You are treated as an individual and a very special client. I use both the hairdressing and beauty treatments and thought that both were very reasonably priced and although the prices have gone up recently ( the first time since the salon has been open) it is still very good value

The staff are always friendly and professional and make sure your visit is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible (I nearly always fall asleep during the blissful scalp massage when I get my hair cut!). I love the relaxation area - a little oasis of calm which seems miles away from the bustling reception/hair area. The Aveda products are fantastic too. Well worth a try.

It changed me from a lifelong barber goer! They’re really nice staff, you get a good cut, a great hair wash/massage and quite importantly it’s not an ‘intimidating’ environment for a bloke, even though it is obviously a more female frequented place. I buy my shave and hair stuff there too as Aveda make really good products and if it’s important to you, I know they are a very ethical and environmentally friendly producer.

They really know how to teach - making it really good fun. The facilities are excellent too - very warm pool for little one's and then a warm main pool as well - makes learning all the more enjoyable.

I have been both upstairs and downstairs and have always been treated lovely and welcoming and have never not been informed of any extra costs (which there are almost everywhere) which i would expect and appreciate. You can see this is a professional salon and i would recommend it to anyone who believes in value for their money. I would not understimate this salon, i think it'll get even harder to book an appointment! ;-)
