My 30th birthday celebrations !!!!!

I had my 30th Bday at the blagclub in Notting hill Gate, and the evening was a great success. The staff welcomed us with a complimentary glass of bubbly which is always a bonus! the venue is hidden in an intimate Notting Hill Gate first floor house like club. It feels like an intimate houseparty and was the perfect setting for our bash, highly recommend try out this gem.

Dissapointed and very angry!

I'm an ex pat living here and I love soul food but what i had last night i could have got from TGI's and a lot quicker, the main reason i went there was to have collard greens and mac 'n' cheese...neither of which they had, the corn bread was overcooked, the chicken was overcooked and dry and the brownies were the worst i have ever had, the service was terrible, the seating cramped, we booked for a party of 10...they couldnt handle it. Half of my party ordered ribs and they came without onion rings, we never got them, yet another screw up..and they had the gull to charge us £15 service charge...AND BE WARNED...WE HAD OUR CREDIT CARD CLONED IN THERE, SOMEONE TRIED TO WITHDRAW £250 FROM OUR ACCOUNT WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS OF LEAVING, ONE OF THE STAFF WAS USING A LAPTOP BEHIND US AND WATCHED US PUT THE PIN NUMBER IN.

this restaurant is top of the mark, the prices are very reasonable. the fod is mouth watering delicious. the waiters are efficient, and the atmosphere is just cool. i will definetely be returning. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who just wants to chill with great food and fantastic service.
