I would like to live here, I could just bed down on some of the reams of ribbon in the evening and sleep very happily in the stock room. There is one fundamental problem with this shop and that is that everything is so beautiful that you can't visit without spending £60. You then leave the store with the smallest of see-through bags and spend the afternoon wondering quite how it's possible to spend megabucks on small slips of coloured silk-. Hmmmm. I once enquired about a roll of multicoloured watermarked satin ribbon that caught my eye only to discover it was 16th century and £280 a metre! Eeeek! Still, if you know what you want and have some self control, it is possible not to go bonkers in here. I love the quirky pieces they have near the till (ribbon that reads "I'm a natural blonde" , brilliant!) and they have everything you need to change a drab outfit into a vision worthy of a modern Marie Antoinette. Repeat after me , "Ribbon Makes Everything Better-."
