It is brilliantly casual and laid back, indeed when you arrive for lunch at 12.30, you can have a relaxed drink in the 'garden' as it is affectionately known (an area with green carpet!!) before being shown to your table, and don't expect to leave before about 7 o clock! The waiters are brilliant and attentive, the wine list long and full, and the food is down to earth, proper English, and absolutely fantastic (go for the bangers and mash - it's superb!).

Langans is always very busy, a tribute to its popularity, and you will have difficulty making a reservation, but it is well worth sitting on the waiting list as it is just so good.
