<![CDATA[Greater London - Westminster - Soho - Leisure and Sports - Reviews]]> http://www.welovelocal.com Reviews from welovelocal.com en I agree! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/westminster/soho/rehearsal-studios/enterprise-studios-wc2h8nl.html#r40004 Practiced at this place out of convenience for a few weeks. Absolutely aweful gear - missing/broken footswitches for amps, broken drum skins "repaired" with gaffa tape and all the staff are a bunch of "too cool for school" morons who don't seem to give a crap about the place they work in or the bands they have come in. Also, don't expect sound-proofing...

Can't help but feel this is due to it's location - most places in Denmark Street are turning this way and it's a real shame.

Brian Barwick http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/westminster/soho/sports-clubs/football-association-w1d4fa.html#r35760 This is a good place to go and see the guy responsible for England not naking Euro 2008, plus see the players on disciplineraies. John Terry is a regular visitor.

Plenty of visits http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/westminster/soho/sports-clubs/football-association-w1d4fa.html#r29334 On one of my many visits to london i thought it would be a great idea to see the famous home of the FA. It is pretty busy outside most days with visits by players and officials, esp the players that have to answer to soem sort of warning! the highlight for me was i got to chat to sir Trevor brooking, one of my heroes years ago!! A very impressive building with lots of high profile visitors, great for the entertainment value!

Good place to spot people! http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/westminster/soho/sports-clubs/football-association-w1d4fa.html#r24638 I used to work nearby to Soho Square, and when getting my lunch I would often see footballers or managers arriving/leaving amongst all the photographers and tv cameras - great to stand and watch for a bit!

rubbish gear - unfriendly people http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/westminster/soho/rehearsal-studios/enterprise-studios-wc2h8nl.html#r2901 This place has the most trashed gear on the planet and is run by some of the most self-satisfied, unfriendly and vindictive people I have ever had the misfortune to meet. And it's expensive. Never go there!

Does what it says on the tin http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/westminster/soho/karaoke/karaoke-box-w1d4rq.html#r2826 There are karaoke joints springing up a-plenty in old London town. This one has been around a while and definitely isn't the most glamorous or glitzy in the centre of town, but it gives you exactly what you want: small booths that you can crowd into and sing your little cotton socks off. There's a massive selection of songs, so even the biggest metaller, or laidback folkie will find something to suit their tastes. There's fairly OK wine, beer and snacks on offer at not too exorbitant price and, if you don't have a good time, you're doing something very wrong. Just don't expect to go along and sing to an audience of hundreds!
