Whether you pop in on a Saturday afternoon mid-shopping spree or go there especially. The place is a wild collection of all things cool, retro and funky! Clothes, accessories and ornaments are on sale. There's things you just wouldn't find anywhere else. And great food and drinks! Set right in the heart of the city's Northern Quarter, Pop Cafe is right amongst the coolest places to shop, eat, drink or just hang out.

From ice cream to minced meat, this store has all the alternatives to convert a hardcore red meat lover into a veggie. However, Most of the product do come at a bit of a price, but you cannot put a price on healthy living. In the basement, they have a cafe which serves excellent meals and fresh pastry. Highly recommended for vegeterians and anybody that is interested in attempting to switch their lifestyles, the will give you all the information you need including recipies for cooking vegetarian dishes and pastry.

The food is very good, if slightly expensive for what you get. I paid about £16 for lunch for 2 recently although it was a very enjoyable change. The pizzas, tofu burgers and especially the Quinoa casserole are the favoured choices for my money. If it's a snack and a healthy drink you're after, a break from shopping or sight-seeing, then The Eighth Day have a wonderful (and very healthy) selection of smoothies, juices and cakes. Staff are very friendly and polite all the times I've visited. Something a little bit different but well worth a visit.
