Unfortunately for the restaurant, i think it's location means that this restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem and doesn't get as busy as it should do in the evenings and weekends.

Being at the centre of green park, there is plenty of free parking which is a bonus. The restaurant sits next to a man made lake and the restaurant is contemporary in design whith modern furnishings. Inside is spacious with plenty of room between table, no chair backs knocking together and it doesn't feel like your overlooking or hearing your neighbours table/converstaions.

The food is really nice. Fish featured quite heavilly when we visited but i understand the menu changes reguarly. The emphisis of the food is modern britsh with a thai/asian fusion.

I tried the oysters grilled with cheese,bacon & worchestire sauce (posh loaded skins) and these were amazing.

All the food was very nicely presented and the flavours were robust, but delicate and complimented each other very well. All our party were equally impressed with their food.

Would i go back, you bet i would!

I'd completely hyped it up to my foodie brother and I'm afraid it was nothing special, especially for the money we paid.

His steak was well done when he asked for medium rare and the chips were very oily. It was an off night but for the £88 we spent, I wasn't too impressed this time.

It is not the cheapest but the food is first class and the modern clean crisp decor surrounded by the water at Green Park makes it a great venue. There is live music regularly and if you don't want to eat from the main menu there is a cheaper set course option.
